• Our safeguarding policies ensure a rigorous vetting and selection procedure for staff and homestay hosts
• All students receive a KSE ID card with their name, the address of their accommodation, school, group leader and police phone numbers
• We have a 24-hour emergency line for students, adult learners, group leaders and homestay hosts
• As part of our introduction to the school, we make sure that all students receive advice about basic safety, including a reminder that cars drive on the left in England!
• Our staff run crossing patrols in the vicinity of the school, making sure that KSE students can make their way safely to school in the mornings
• In the evenings, KSE security staff are on duty to make sure everybody gets home safely
